I don’t expect it to be free, but i’ll be annoyed if they are paid-for. We’ve paid enough money for a game which doens’t work half the time, i’m not paying to expand it.

What makes you think it will be free?

CoD4 & CoD WAW were paid for DLC on consoles. We were lucky to get them for free. But with steam intergration comes the possibility of paid for dlc (see Borderlands and Empire Total War).

Expect to pay, and don’t get angry about it.

BAHAHAHAHAHA BAHAHAHAHA, and since when has Rob Bowling known anything.
Activision are just pissed DICE beat them, and firing IW’s head guys is just cost cutting.A 12yr old could put out the next COD game, theyre all the same (cod4 was the best though).

In November 2009, the Company released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, a game developed by one of the Company’s wholly-owned studios, Infinity Ward. As noted above, Modern Warfare 2 was the best selling console title in the U.S. and Europe in 2009. Consistent with past practice, the Company intends to release a Call of Duty game in 2010 developed by another wholly-owned studio. The Company is concluding an internal human resources inquiry into breaches of contract and insubordination by two senior employees at Infinity Ward. This matter is expected to involve the departure of key personnel and litigation. At present, the Company does not expect this matter to have a material impact on the Company.

Also, i have just noticed a skins_readme.txt file in the skins folder, Valve are looking pretty good with the new skinning process. Thanks for including this Valve

Hehe i am not done yet.I added submarines and fix snow on the ground.Now map looks realy great.Also i add custom sounds like sea waves,electric sounds,wind sounds.And the most important map is small in size.Its only 30mb so far and i dont belive it will be over 35 at the end.
